Presentation "Making associated gas utilization economically feasible" at the EBRD workshop

On June 18, 2013, Dr. Mordkovich, INFRA’s Chief Technology Officer, made a speech during a one-day workshop “Ways to increase utilization of associated petroleum gas”, organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Global Gas Flaring Reduction (GGFR) partnership as part of the initiative to reduce flaring and to support the development of sustainable business practices in the oil and gas sectors.

The presentation, entitled “Making associated gas utilization economically feasible”, showed that application of INFRA.xtl proprietary technology represents both a technological and an economic breakthrough in the synthesis of liquid hydrocarbon fuels that makes even small-scale GTL plants economically viable and for the first time in history allows to monetize associated gas without any subsidies.

In particular, INFRA’s projected compact serial100 barrels-a-day GTL unit for associated gas utilization is anticipated to have marginally positive NPV for the customer without any subsidies.
