INFRA Technology eliminates obstacles on further development of US shale oil production

There is no doubt that U.S. shale production will grow over the next three to five years. However, “the pace of the booming shale production over the next five years will also be determined by several factors that could limit the industry’s growth potential…” energy expert Robert Rapier writes in Forbes. Midstream infrastructure constraints, such as the flaring of associated natural gas that subjects shale production to environmental regulations, and the pipeline infrastructure capital costs, could potentially slow down growth over the next few years and shift the timing of peak tight oil, argues Rapier.
